·         Hawks still missing Dick Barrie run Kingsway close but a Brian Gilliland five ride maximum proves to be the difference between the teams

·         Last heat decider but Caff , off gate two, is sandwiched by Norrie and Gilliland , leaving Nicky with a vain chase
