that stood between Kingsway and a rout
· David Norrie twice excluded for crossing the inside line – once while
going down the straight !!!
· Billy Campbell only Kingsway rider other than Brian Gilliland to win a heat
, and only after he had crumped Ronnie Young
· Hawks all round superiority born out by every rider in 1-6 winning at least
one heat
